Thank you all very much for the lovely stay at the Monumental in July. We found everything to our satisfaction, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. It was our first visit to Madeira and we will certainly be back again.
We had a very enjoyable holiday made all the more special by the attention from yourselves prior to our departure and by the hotel staff on duty throughout our stay. The hotel was well placed for restaurants and shops and trips into town, and had everything we needed on site from the numerous pools, gym area, and evening entertainment and had the added bonus of a fridge and kettle in our rooms. Funchal itself was beautiful, it has a charm of its own with all the lush greenery and flowers. The holiday was booked as a surprise for my brother’s 50th birthday and he had no idea where we were going until we got to the airport! It was our first visit to Madeira but it wont be our last, we will indeed come back Funchal and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else other than the Four Views Monumental Lido.
